The invention discloses a self-adaptive online speed adjusting system with a rear vehicle early warning function. The self-adaptive online speed adjusting system comprises a detection unit, a computing unit, a comparison and control unit and a rear vehicle early warning unit. The rear vehicle early warning unit comprises an early warning signal processing unit, an early warning horn and an early warning lamp, wherein the early warning horn and the early warning lamp are controlled by the early warning signal processing unit. The comparison and control unit is used for comparing a second detection distance and a second theory distance, outputting a rear vehicle early warning signal according to the comparison result, inputting the rear vehicle early warning signal to the early warning signal processing unit, and conducting acousto-optical early warning on the rear vehicle through the early warning horn and the early warning lamp. The self-adaptive online speed adjusting system can ensure the running safety, is suitable for changeable driving environments, and has high flexibility.
