The invention discloses a planetary differential obstacle-crossing type tracked robot. According to the tracked robot, underactuation and modularization are combined with the tracked mobile robot so that the mobile robot can be more widely applied in the fields of space exploration, disaster rescue, military actions and the like. The tracked robot comprises driving wheel assemblies, a vehicle body assembly, a mechanical arm assembly and a tail end actuator assembly, wherein the four driving wheel assemblies are fixedly connected to the two sides of the vehicle body assembly, the mechanical arm assembly is fixedly connected with the top of the vehicle body assembly, and the mechanicam arm assembly drives the tail end actuator assembly. According to the tracked robot, the underactuation technology is applied to the tracked robot, and the capacity of the tracked robot for adapting to a complicated terrain environment is enhanced; only one motor is needed when the driving wheel assemblies run and cross obstacles, and sealing and replacement are easy because closed modularized design is adopted.
