The invention discloses a low-voltage power supply system used for a vehicle and a control method of the low-voltage power supply system. The method comprises the following steps: a first storage battery is communicated with a start-related electric appliance; when an ignition switch of the vehicle is in a non-ON and non-Start gear position, the first storage battery is controlled to be communicated with a start-unrelated electric appliance, and a second storage battery is controlled to be off; when the ignition switch of the vehicle is in an ON gear position, the second storage battery is controlled to be communicated with the start-related electric appliance and the start-unrelated electric appliance, and the first storage battery is controlled to be communicated with the start-unrelated electric appliance; besides, when the ignition switch of the vehicle is in a Start gear position, the second storage battery is controlled to be communicated with only the start-unrelated electric appliance.
