The invention relates to the technical field of rubber and particularly relates to a rubber composition for a tire shoulder pad. The rubber composition is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 15-25 parts of butadiene rubber, 10-20 parts of natural rubber, 4-5 parts of zinc oxide, 10-12 parts of carbon black, 4-5 parts of silicon dioxide, 2-3 parts of isoprene, 0.1-0.3 part of an anti-scorching agent, 1-3 parts of stearic acid, 2-3 parts of microcrystalline wax, 3-5 parts of a plasticizer and 1-2 parts of sulfur. According to the rubber composition for tire shoulder pad, the themogenesis and hysteresis loss of rubber on a bottom layer of a tire tread can be effectively prevented, a shoulder vacancy problem in the use of the tire is reduced, and the use performance of the tire is improved.
