The invention relates to a manual slewing mechanism for a crane. The manual slewing mechanism comprises a base, wherein the base is of a hollow cylindrical structure; the middle of the base is provided with a central rotation shaft; the lower part of the central rotation shaft is connected with the base via a first shaft sleeve; the top of the central rotation shaft is connected with the base via a bearing and a bearing base; the middle of the central rotation shaft is provided with a worm gear via a second shaft sleeve; the worm gear is meshed with a worm; the worm is positioned on the side part of the base; the head part of the worm is provided with a handle. The manual slewing mechanism is compact and reasonable in structure, is simple and convenient to operate, is convenient to manufacture and install, completes the slewing motion via the driving of a worm and gear mechanism, saves labor for operators, and is high in working efficiency.
