A road vehicle-crossing early warning system comprises two subsystems arranged at the two sides of a road respectively. Each subsystem comprises an ultrasonic transceiver arranged at the side of the road, the output end of the ultrasonic transceiver is connected to a processor, and the processor is connected with a wireless communication module and a display screen. According to the road vehicle-crossing early warning system of the invention, whether there is a car coming from the front is judged by the ultrasonic transceivers, and the related information is transmitted to the display screen behind the other side of the road, so that the driver of the coming car can have a general knowledge of the situation and maintain speed.
