The invention provides an installation method for a high-voltage ceramic wall bushing. According to the specific technical scheme, the installation method comprises the following steps: 1. preparation for installation, namely production of a traveling jack, hanging of a chain block and open-case inspection of the high-voltage ceramic wall bushing; 2. conveying of the bushing; and 3. installation of the bushing. A conveying device for the high-voltage ceramic wall bushing comprises two portal main frames, two main transverse frames, two inclined struts, two sets of chain blocks, and four universal wheels. According to the installation method and the conveying device for the high-voltage ceramic wall bushing provided by the invention, the operation situation that a crane cannot be used due to narrow space can be effectively solved, a steel framework of the portal traveling jack in a lifting stroke is wrapped by using a foam board, the two sets of chain blocks are matched with each other, and the stress of the bushing is uniform, so that the damage probability of the high-voltage ceramic wall bushing is reduced; the operation is easy, convenient and feasible, and the facilities such as the portal traveling jack are formed by modifying steel portal movable scaffolds, so that the cost is low, the facilities can be repeatedly used in installation, and the operation efficiency is high.
