Disclosed is an elevator safety door. The elevator safety door comprises pedal devices and a controller. Each pedal device comprises a pedal, an oscillating bar, an oscillating bar base, compression springs and an electromagnetic bolt. Each pedal is mounted on a floor in front of an elevator gate. The compression springs are arranged between the pedals and the floors, the oscillating bars are arranged between the pedals and the floors, and the middles of the oscillating bars are hinged to the oscillating bar bases. One end of each oscillating bar is connected with the corresponding electromagnetic bolt, the other end of the corresponding oscillating bar is hinged to a drive rod, the drive rods and the pedals are hinged, and the oscillating bar bases and the floors are fixedly connected. Elevator outer doors are provided with bolt holes, and the electromagnetic bolts are located below the bolt holes. When people stand on the pedals, lock bolts of the electromagnetic bolts are driven by the pedals and the oscillating bars to be inserted in the bolt holes of the elevator outer doors, the elevator outer doors cannot be opened, and thus people can be prevented from falling into an elevator car. When the elevator car travels to the elevator outer doors of the corresponding floor, the controller is used for controlling the lock bolts of the electromagnetic bolts to unlock, and accordingly the elevator outer doors can be opened.
