The invention discloses a ball type suspension device. The ball type suspension device comprises a rail supporting plate (1-1) with an opening, wherein first angle steel (1-2) and second angle steel (1-6) are fixedly connected at the opening of the rail supporting plate; a right half-ball (1-3) is mounted in a space enclosed by the first angle steel and the second angle steel; the right half-ball is connected with a left hall-ball (1-8) through a first bolt (1-7); a slot body is formed between the right half-ball and the left half-ball; a bearing (1-5) is mounted in the slot body; the right half-ball, the left half-ball and the bearing are integrally connected with a half-ball holding frame (1-4). The ball type suspension device has the benefits that an original passive safety design of the device is changed into an active safety design, and a design concept of an original underground circulating manned system is turned over, so that potential safety hazards of rope skipping, rope breaking and the like are radically avoided. Moreover, a structural form of a sectional detachable steel wire rope set is adopted, so that the system can freely extend, great workload due to rope blocking and system prolonging is reduced, the working flow is simplified, the safety of the passenger device is guaranteed, a great deal of mounting and maintaining time is reduced, and great social benefits are obtained.
