The invention discloses a car safety protection device for protecting pedestrians. The structures of a safety thin film piece, a thin film separating component, a thin film lifting component and an electronic control component of the car safety protection device are matched; when the pedestrians are collided with a car, the electronic control component is connected with the thin film separating component and the thin film lifting component and controls the motion sequence of the thin film separating component and the thin film lifting component, the safety thin film piece tightly attached to the surface of a car engine cover is promoted to be rapidly separated, and a safety buffer protection wall is built above the engine cover and in front of a front windshield; in this way, the pedestrians are collided with the safety buffer protection wall firstly and obtain larger buffering power, the collision force is reduced, the safety of the pedestrians is protected to the maximum degree, and the casualty rate is reduced. Meanwhile, as the safety thin film piece has elasticity and comprises at least one layer of transparent thin film, the pedestrians can be protected, a car body, the car engine cover and the windshield of the car can be protected, the sight of a driver is not influenced, and the car safety protection device is reliable and practical.
