The invention discloses a main elevator shaft device adopting a split rolling bearing as a traveling winding drum. The main elevator shaft device comprises a rope adjusting clutch, a main shaft, a traveling winding drum, a fixed winding drum and a fixed winding drum supporting wheel, wherein the fixed winding drum supporting wheel is fixedly arranged on the main shaft, the fixed winding drum and the fixed winding drum supporting wheel are connected together by a high-strength bolt through double clamping plates; the traveling winding drum is arranged on the main shaft through the split rolling bearing arranged in a split bearing seat. The main elevator shaft device has outstanding advantages of being flexible to rotate, high in reliability, convenient to maintain and the like by replacing the two halves of brasses structures and a traveling winding drum semi-supporting wheel with the split rolling bearing and the bearing seat.
