The invention discloses a motor train unit and an outer windshield thereof. The outer windshield is arranged on an end wall of a motor train unit body, the outer windshield is fully coated with rubber, is in contact with an outer windshield of an adjacent motor train unit body, is in a circle shape and is arranged around the end wall of the motor train unit body, the outer end surface of the outer windshield is in an arc shape, and two adjacent outer windshields are in linear contact. The outer windshield has the advantages that after the motor train unit bodies are hung, the outer windshields of the adjacent motor train unit bodies are in contact arrangement, the whole end wall is surrounded by the outer windshield, and the gap between the motor train unit bodies along the length and circumference directions of the motor train unit is none, so the connection of the end parts of the whole motor train unit is smooth, the driving drag of the motor train unit is reduced, and the aerodynamics property of the motor train unit is further improved; on this basis, the outer windshields are in linear contact, so the possible friction drag between the adjacent outer windshields is minimized.
