The invention relates to the field of automobile parts, in particular to a novel passenger car rear view mirror. The novel passenger car rear view mirror comprises a mirror body, a connection arm and a car connecting plate. The car connecting plate is connected to the passenger car, the connection arm is connected to the mirror body and the car connecting plate and comprises three supporting tubes, namely a main supporting tube, two auxiliary supporting tubes of two sides of the main supporting tube, the connection arm further comprises a fixing tube which extends from the main supporting tube and which is connected to the auxiliary supporting tubes in a crossed manner, and the fixing tube is arranged in the middle of the main supporting tube. Thus, the weight of the connection arm is decreased, the connection is firm, cost is reduced, and operation is facilitated during installation.
