The invention belongs to the technical field of vehicle conveying safety and relates to a hazardous article vehicle speed monitoring system. The hazardous article vehicle speed monitoring system comprises a speed limiting signal generator, a vehicle-mounted control device, an alarm device and a vehicle central control device. The speed limiting signal generator is connected with the vehicle-mounted control device which is connected with the alarm device. The vehicle-mounted control device is provided with a signal receiving unit and a control unit. The control unit is connected with the vehicle central control device which is connected with a monitoring center through a GPS positioning module. The hazardous article vehicle speed monitoring system is high in safety.
