The invention relates to a high-strength steering device of a semi-trailer towing vehicle. The high-strength steering device comprises a lower tray connected with the towing vehicle and an upper tray connected with a semi-trailer, the lower tray is connected with the upper tray, the upper tray and the lower tray can rotate relative to each other, and a steering mechanism is arranged between the lower tray and the upper tray. When the lower tray steers at a preset angle, the steering mechanism is connected with the lower tray and rotates along with the lower tray, and when the lower tray rotates to the positions beyond the preset angle, the steering mechanism is separated from the lower tray and is connected with the upper tray. The steering device comprises a gear ring which is arranged between the upper tray and the lower tray, and the gear ring is connected with wheels of the semi-trailer and is made of high-strength steel which comprises 0.38%-0.50% of C, 0.1%-0.3% of Si, 0.6%-0.9% of Mn, 1.1 %-1.5% of Cr, 0.15%-0.25% of Ni, 0.02%-0.1% of Nb, 0.1%-0.3% of V, and the balance Fe. The high-strength steering device can steer within reasonable angles and is long in service life.
