The invention relates to a sand-proof railway vehicle. The sand-proof railway vehicle comprises a vehicle body, a bogie, a device chamber and an air conditioning ventilating system; the vehicle body comprises an end wall, a side wall, a roof and a bottom frame; a coating structure of the sidewall comprises a primer layer, a putty layer, a medium painting layer, a finishing paint layer and a varnish layer; the coating structure of the roof comprises a primer layer, a medium painting layer, a finishing paint layer and a varnish layer; the coating structure of the bottom frame comprises a primer layer and a finishing paint layer. According to the sand-proof railway vehicle, high-flexibility coatings form an elastic coating system for the vehicle body, so that the sand-proof railway vehicle is outstanding in outer surface wear resistance, remarkable in ageing resistance, and high in interlayer attaching force and cold resistance; the external stand impact force can be buffered under the recoverable deformation effect of the system, and therefore, the railway vehicle is adapted to the high-sand regional environment and can also be applied to operation in a high cold and high ultraviolet regions.
