The invention relates to a marine traffic control method. The marine traffic control method comprises the following steps of, firstly, obtaining the real-time and historical position information of ships through maritime radars; secondly, at every sampling time, predicting the tracks of the ships at times in the further in a rolling mode according to the real-time and historical position information of the ships; thirdly, based on the current running states and the historical position observation sequences of the ships, obtaining the variable values of wind fields of sea areas; fourthly, based on the running states of the ships and set safety rule sets that the ships need to meet when running in the sea areas, monitoring the dynamic behaviors of the ships and providing timely alarming information for a marine traffic control center; lastly, when the alarming information exists, under the premise of meeting the physical properties of the ships and sea area traffic rules and by setting optimizing index functions and integrating the wind field variable values, performing rolling planning on ship collision avoidance tracks through an adaptive control theory method, and transmitting planning results to every ship for execution. The marine traffic control method achieves real-time track prediction and planning and obtains high safety.
