The invention discloses an intelligent steel rail hauling and climbing method based on mechanic-electronic-hydraulic integration. In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts the technical scheme that in order to overcome the defect that large-scale instruments such as the existing traditional fault detection car cannot climb up steel rails, the invention depends on the principle that a fault detection apparatus can stably move onto a rotary motor platform of a rail climbing car through a telescopic steel rail of an intelligent rail climbing car, a rear crawler wheel of the rail climbing car is a drive wheel, and a front crawler wheel adopts a parallelogram structure to steer conveniently, when the rail climbing car moves to be beside the steel rail to be detected, a rotary motor starts to rotate to enable the fault detection apparatus to face against the steel rail and to stretch out of the steel rail, and the fault detection apparatus drives onto the steel rail to be detected along the telescopic steel rail and starts to detect faults of the steel rail.
