The invention belongs to the technical field of rail transit trains, and discloses a dual magnetic type permanent magnet track braking device. The device comprises a bogie and a braking magnet which is connected with the lower part of the bogie by a transmission mechanism and arranged in a distance with the steel rail of the track, wherein the braking magnet comprises two side plates, the length direction of each side plate is same to the track direction, a cover plate is arranged on the side plates, a through hole is formed between the side plates and the cover plate, the side plates are magnetic conductive materials, the cover plate is a non magnetic conductive material, a long-strip shaped first permanent magnet is arranged in the through hole, the magnetic poles of the first permanent magnet are arranged on the two side surfaces, a pole shoe is arranged below the side plates, a clearance is formed in the middle of the pole shoe, a long-strip shaped second permanent magnet is arranged in the clearance, the magnetic poles of the second permanent magnet are arranged on the two side surfaces, and a driving device is arranged on one end of each side plate and used for driving the first permanent magnet to rotate. The direction of the magnetic field of the permanent magnet is changed, so that the magnetic strength of the magnet and the steel rail is controlled, and the braking device provided is simple and reliable.
