The invention discloses a steel wire rope slipping-back preventing device for an aerial passenger device, belonging to a mining device. The steel wire rope slipping-back preventing device comprises a hanging bracket, a rocker bar, a ratchet wheel, a pawl, a running pulley, a steel wire rope of the aerial passenger device, a stop pawl, a stop ratchet wheel, a riding wheel and the like, wherein one end of the rocker bar is hinged to the hanging bracket, and the other end of the rocker bar hollowly sleeves a shaft; the ratchet wheel is fixedly arranged on the running pulley; the pawl keeps contact with the ratchet wheel and is hinged to a connecting rod; the stop ratchet wheel is fixedly connected to the riding wheel; the stop pawl is hinged to the hanging bracket. When the steel wire rope of the aerial passenger device is broken, the steel wire rope rapidly slips backwards, the riding wheel stops rotating, due to the friction force between the steel wire rope and the running pulley, the running pulley and the rocker bar are driven to swing towards a position where the hanging bracket is located, and the gap between the riding wheel and the running pulley is smaller and smaller to gradually clamp the steel wire rope of the aerial passenger device, so that the steel wire rope is at standstill, the safety production is furthest ensured and the personal and property losses caused by an rope broken accident are reduced.
