The invention relates to a front axle steel plate spring locking mechanism for an overhead working truck. The front axle steel plate spring locking mechanism is mounted on an automobile chassis crossbeam and is used for compressing and releasing a vehicle front axle steel plate spring. The front axle steel plate spring locking mechanism comprises a supporting oil cylinder, a bidirectional balance valve, locking vertical plates, a locking crossbeam, pin shafts and a fixed disc. A cylinder bottom connecting disc of the supporting oil cylinder is fixed onto the automobile chassis crossbeam through bolts, and a piston rod end of the supporting oil cylinder is supported on an I-shaped beam of a chassis; the fixed disc is arranged at the piston rod end of the supporting oil cylinder in a matched mode, and can only rotate in a circumferential direction and upwards move along the axial direction of a piston rod, connecting holes are formed in the two sides of the fixed disc, and the fixed disc is connected with the two locking vertical plate through the pin shafts; the lower ends of the locking vertical plates are connected with the locking crossbeam through the pin shafts, and the I-shaped beam of the chassis is embraced. The mechanism can be supported by tires under the condition that the overhead working truck has no supporting legs, so that working at heights is carried out; moreover, the whole vehicle can walk and move at a low speed without withdrawing a working arm under a specified working condition, and working is realized by site changing, so that the preparation time of the working at heights is reduced, and the work efficiency is improved.
