The invention discloses a side top piece which is applied to a side wall board and belongs to the technical field of railway trucks. The side top piece comprises a supporting piece, a driving component fixed on the supporting piece and a top pressing component, wherein one end of the top pressing component is rotatably connected with the driving component. A plurality of novel side top pieces are added to closely fit the arc curve of the side wall board, and the technical defects that in the prior art, the phenomenon that the local position of the side wall board is closely fit and the rest positions cannot be closely fit occurs due to the fact that the whole profiling arc pressing board is used and the whole profiling arc pressing board and the arc curve of the side wall board are difficultly consistent are overcome.
