A method and apparatus for controlling switching between series/parallel driving mode of a hybrid vehicle, which are used to solve the problems of being unable to complete series/parallel switching due to model selection not matching between an engine and a P1 generator, a P1 generator being in capable of speed adjustment, and a vehicle unexpectedly accelerating or decelerating. The method for controlling switching between series/parallel driving mode of a hybrid vehicle comprises: when a series/parallel switching request is received, reading relevant parameters of a vehicle and the current driving mode of the vehicle; preprocessing target torques of an engine, a generator, and a driving motor on the basis of the current driving mode of the vehicle and the relevant parameters of the vehicle; identifying a target driving mode of the vehicle on the basis of the received series/parallel switching request; and after the torque preprocessing is complete, according to the relevant parameters, the current driving mode, and the target driving mode of the vehicle, controlling switching between series/parallel driving mode of the vehicle.
