A hybrid vehicle, an engine starting control method thereof, a medium, and a controller, relating to the technical field of hybrid vehicles. The method comprises: after satisfying an engine starting condition, acquiring the engine oil temperature and the cooling liquid temperature of the engine; according to the engine oil temperature and the cooling liquid temperature, looking up in a preset corresponding relationship to obtain the working loss torque of the engine; and, according to the working loss torque, controlling an ISG motor of a hybrid vehicle so as to start the engine.
