Abstract Vehicle bumper assembly 10 including a bumper body 12, a pair of lamp modules 14 and one or more controllers 16. The bumper body 12 is configured to be arranged at least partially across one of a front and rear end of the vehicle (not illustrated). The body 12 defines opposed sides 18, 20. The pair of lamp modules 14 are mounted to the bumper body 12 to be spaced from each other and towards one of the sides 18, 20. Each lamp module 14 includes one or more light emitting units 22 arranged to extend at least partially across the lamp module 14. The, or each, controller 16 is configured to operate one or both of the lamp modules 14 to cause the one or more light emitting units 20 to sequentially illuminate to indicate a turn direction of the vehicle.
