Abstract The present invention discloses a device for rapidly removing algae blooms in a water body, which comprises a ship body, wherein a driving system is arranged at a tail part of the ship body, an algae suction system, a dehydration system and an algae storage system which are sequentially communicated are arranged on the ship body, two sides of the ship body are respectively provided with an outwardly extending algae collector which forms an algae collecting groove along with the corresponding side of the ship body, the algae suction system comprises algae suction devices which are respectively arranged at the two sides of the ship body and are adjustable in angle, and the algae suction devices are positioned at inner sides of corresponding algae collecting grooves. The algae blooms in the water body are collected and treated through the algae suction system, the dehydration system and the algae storage system which are arranged on the ship body, the ship body can move circumferentially on the water surface around a rotating shaft under the action of driving force and traction force in a work project. Meanwhile, the length change of a traction rope is controlled by a motor, so that the ship body can pass through each area of the water body; by adopting a small ship body, the algal bloom removal work in a narrow water area or a shallow water area can be completed.
