A cartridge assembly (200) for a track chain includes a bushing (204) and a track pin (202). The bushing (204) has an outer surface (224) and an inner surface (222), the inner surface (222) defining a passage in the form of a cylindrical bore (226). The bushing (204) forms a lubrication reservoir (228) adjacent the inner surface (222) of the bushing (204) and extending towards the outer surface (224) of the bushing (204). The track pin (202) is disposed within the cylindrical bore (226), and the bushing (204) is rotatable with respect to the track pin (202). An outer surface (280) of the track pin (202) is in fluid communication with the lubrication reservoir (228). The outer surface (224) of the bushing (204) corresponds with an outer diameter of the cartridge assembly (200). The outer diameter of the cartridge assembly (200) is less than a diameter of supporting bores (130, 132, 134) such that the cartridge assembly (200) is rotatable with respect to inside surfaces (164, 166, 168) of the supporting bores (130, 132, 134).
