THE Blackburn “Sydney,” the largest military monoplane flying boat built in England is designed to carry out the same duties as the well-known “Iris” type, namely Reconnaissance and Coastal Patrol, either independently or in co-operation with seacraft, and is arranged to carry a similar crew and military load.
