The Port of London's reputation for labour disruption and poor productivity is challenged by Leslie Reynolds, director of studies at the Port Transport Division. Replying to a report in the June issue of Industrial Management that London's docks were threatened by another strike, Reynolds — an ex-docker, who is now a member of the National Ports' Council — gives his version of what is happening at this vital export outlet.
