British Aerospace has placed an order with Umak Ltd for a Swiss made Wahli W50 machining centre for high precision manufacture of gyros and other control system components. The machine will form the first stage of an integrated manufacturing facility which will capitalise on existing British Aerospace computer aided design, manufacturing and management systems.
