AbstractAs the measurements with the aid of SI 1 aboard Meteor-25 show, the careful choice of a stable temperature state of a Fourier-spectrometer, careful harmonizing of reference and signal tract in regard to equal time-delay, and careful shielding from electromagnetic disturbances guarantee a measurement accuracy corresponding approximately to the theoretical values. For more serious restrictions on the rate of data transmission aboard additional signal processing is necessary which has to go beyond the simple moving average of the sample points. These problems will be discussed in detail in a further publication.
