AbstractDuodenal injuries may be caused by blunt or penetrating trauma. There is a high mortality rate with this type of injury, particularly when associated with pancreatic trauma. The surgical management of such injuries is difficult and a technique is described which may reduce postoperative morbidity, as illustrated by the two cases described.
