Abstract This paper presents an approach to ensuring the safety of a landing module on a threat during its splashdown in the World Ocean. We propose mathematical methods and software to predict the main hydrophysical disturbances from underwater vehicles, which are necessary to estimate artificial anomalies on the sea surface.
Highlights Detection of underwater objects ensures safety of the spacecraft splashdown. Underwater object creates identifiable hydrophysical anomalies. Computer technologies can predict hydrophysical anomalies. Analysis of radar images of anomalies allows to detect an underwater object.
