Abstract The Millstone Hill L-band Radar has made metric observations of the LAGEOS satellite. These observations have one meter accuracy in range and 0.02 cm/sec in range rate. Significant ionospheric and tropospheric refraction effects are present in the data. Three months of Millstone Hill radar data has been analyzed. Precision orbits are calculated using quick look laser range data. Refraction, clock parameters and the geodetic position of the Millstone Hill Radar are determined in long arc orbit computation, with an accuracy of 20 cm.
