Abstract The realization possibilities of the experiments with electron beams injection in the stratosphere are analyzed. It is shown that with the gasdischarged gun it is possible to achieve a reasonable agreement between recent technical level and scientific problems of the experiments with artificial injection at the heights band 30–90 km. The balloon experiment is proposed, which is the first attempt to activate studies of this atmosphere region by active experiments method, which successfully recommended itself at the ionospheric altitudes. The experiments with the accelerator allow to make a diagnose of the upper atmosphere processes and their simulations and also to make pure plasma studies in plasmachemistry and in investigation of the artificial plasma-beam irregularities evolution at this heights.
