Abstract Several techniques can provide now for ground stations tridimensional coordinates in global geodetic datum ranging from metre to centimetre. These techniques are basically : VLBI, Laser Ranging to the Moon or artificial satellites such as Lageos or Starlette, range and/or range-rate radio electric tracking of satellites such as Transit, Seasat or Navstar. Each technique provides data which are processed by various analysis centers. Consequently, many sets of station coordinates are published, each of them depending on a specific geodetic datum. Through colocation between tracking stations belonging to various networks and the availability of accurate tridimensional ground tie, it is possible to determine the relative transformations between the various datums with a high accuracy. The same analysis can also provide a set of coordinates for any type of station in a global, geocentric, properly scaled and oriented terrestrial datum. Various results can be presented here, coming from the analysis of data sets collected by I.G.N., coming especially from the MERIT-COTES campaign. Continental terrestrial datums such as ed79 have also been incorporated in the adjustment.
