Abstract Nowdays Satellite Radio Interferometry is proposed as a basic technique for new space projects devoted to geodetic positioning. Together with station coordinates orbital elements can be determined. In the presented work model calculations have been performed and error analysis is made for GPS type satellite orbits /H = 18000 km/ and Lageos type orbits /H = 7000 km/. Different network configuration are analysed. As observables the delays and delay rates are taken, station coordinates and station clocks corrections are considered as unknowns.
