AbstractTaking advantage of the low gravity level on the automatic platform EURECA, it is planned to measure the Soret coefficient of twenty different systems. The hardware is described and the systems to be studied are listed. The influence of the concentration gradient induced by Soret effect on the hydrodynamic stability of a heated layer is described and this is related to the experiments and the obtained values reported in the literature.
