Accidents and their causation in man-machine control systems are defined using automobile and driver as example; all automobile drivers, regardless of skill level, attempt to time-share almost all of tasks which are outlined in detail; some of important functions and relationships in human input system are shown in schematic block diagram form; some of its important characteristics as they relate to human controller in multiloop systems are indicated.
