Comparison of heat transfer data for cylinders in crossflow at hypersonic Mach numbers for gases of different specific heat ratio, molecular weight, and accommodation coefficient; data extend into all flow regimes from free-molecule to almost continuum flow; this made it possible to determine approximate transition points from one flow region into another and to obtain accommodation coefficients.
