Tests to determine effect that body motion cues have on pilot's ability to perform precision close-coupled tracking task were conducted with heavy and with zero stick force gradient; results indicate improvement in pilot performance due to motion cues over stability range tested; motion cues improved performance of pilots when feel forces were absent; pilots preferred to be supplied with motion cues.
