Methods for obtaining bubble-free propellant flow in zero-g are considered and reference is made to work done at Jet Propulsion Laboratory with respect to bladders, diaphragms, and pistons used for positive expulsion of earth-storable liquid rocket propellants; account of development and use of bladders in Ranger and Mariner spacecraft is presented; advanced development program aimed at providing technology for future spacecraft is described.
