Comparison of turboprop and turbojet engines; turboprop will operate more efficiently at lower altitudes and with better fuel economy than turbojet; it will require shorter runways for takeoff and can be fitted with reversing propellers to give better control; course of good judgment would be to defer adoption of turbojet airplane until some later time; development of turboprop engines of suitable size and power should be accelerated.
