Thrust vector control with solid propellant rocket motors cannot be practicable by swivelling due to length of motor; search for new system showed gasdynamic way, to be successful i.e. secondary injection of mass into main supersonic rocket jet through wall of rocket nozzle; general system of gasdynamic thrust vector control and various phenomena produced by lateral injection, and influence on different usable media on efficiency factor of thrust vector control described and compared with swivelling system; aspects of optimum location of secondary injection nozzle in nozzle wall.
