New light weight units designed along aircraft principles, designed by United Aircraft's Corporate Systems Center; capable of speeds to 160 mph, Turbo Trains will be operated between Boston and New York as part of Northeast Corridor high-speed ground transportation project; domed passenger-carrying power car will be at each end of train, one pulling and other pushing with passenger coaches in between; each power dome car will be equipped with from two to four United Aircraft ST6 gas turbine engines as prime power.
