Black Arrow is satellite launcher vehicle based on very successful Black Knight ballistic test vehicle; it is intended as means of launching experimental satellites of up to 230 lb into polar orbits of some 300 nautical mi altitude from Woomera in South Australia; design of vehicle which in its basic form has three stages, first and second having liquid fueled engines, and third stage solid fueled apogee motor; propellants used for liquid fuel engines are hydrogen peroxide (HTP) and kerosene: flight program and possible applications; objectives of utilization satellites.
