Probability of spacecraft returning from circular or elliptical orbits to multiple sites is examined as function of spacecraft cross-range capabilities and waiting time allowed in orbit; ascending nodes from which spacecraft with given cross-range capability could land at specified sites are determined; loci of these nodes form coverage belts along equator; procedure for determining magnitude and locations of coverage along equator for any one site is described according to high- and low-inclination mode; discrete set of regions of accessibility along equator determines probability of return; sample results are given.
