Computer-controlled dynamic-test facility providing data on overall flight characteristics of Apollo-Saturn V rocket which will speed three Apollo astronauts to moon; dynamic tests of replica of Apollo-Saturn V rocket by Dynamic Test Vehicle (DTV), controlled by digital computer; test of various key points of DTV with aid of electrodynamic shakers that vibrate system vertically, horizontally, or torsionally, with frequencies ranging from 0.1 to 30 cps; waveform of vibration is provided by digital function generator; real-time data collection and test monitoring are performed during data acquisition mode, which records data point identification records and controls recording of data blocks.
