In support of Apollo mission, complex network is being built to monitor, control and communicate with spacecraft; part of this network will include three instrumentation ships converted from World War II T-2 tankers by cutting mid-body section of each ship free of its bow and stern and replacing it with new, larger midbody; report on some electromagnetic compatibility problems associated with systems in instrumentation complex; most of these problems occurred during operation of HF transmitters due to high output power of these transmitters; more specifically, they were due to illumination of number of potential interference generators on weather decks.
