Drag of head, main-parallel, and tailend parts of train body is analyzed theoretically and results are assembled into general formula for calculating total aerodynamic drag of train in tunnels; drag coefficients of trains in various conditions are calculated using formula described; values of coefficients in formula are chosen from data obtained through actual train tests.
